One of the best times to visit Kenya is from July to September, during the country’s dry season, which also coincides with the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebra.
The rainy seasons are also good times to travel, as there are fewer visitors and you can admire the striking emerald vegetation. December in particular is a great time to travel to Kenya, since the rains are short and you have the chance to see newborn animals and migratory bird species. Only the peak of the ‘long rains’ in March, April and May are very wet.

0730hrs departure from your hotel in Nairobi and transfer to Wilson Airport for 0915hrs flight to Samburu Arrival at the Airstrip at 1030hrs and upon landing enjoy morning game drives; animals in Samburu include rare grants gazelle, gerenuk, gravy’s zebra, beisa Oryx and other rare wild plants. Lunch followed by afternoon game viewing to spot the big five (lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, leopard) and other plains game. Evening transfer back to camp for rest and dinner

Breakfast at 0700hrs then drive to Mt. Kenya; drive via the equator point for photos and scenery viewing. Proceed to Mt. Kenya arriving for check in and lunch at lodge. Thereafter relax at the balcony of your rooms as you enjoy wildlife viewing in the quiet and serene surroundings of your lodge which is built on the slopes of Kenya’s highest mountain. Animals frequent the floodlit waterhole and saltlick which gives you an opportunity to view wildlife during the day and night. Other activities available include trout fishing, guided walks and bird walks.

Early breakfast followed by morning departure to Lake Bogoria, this is famously known for its beauty, bubbling geysers and gushing hot springs. Arrive for check in and lunch at lodge then depart for afternoon exploration of the park. Various browsers can be spotted at the shores of the lake which is lined by pink flamingos. The lodge has the only naturally heated pool within its beautiful landscaped gardens. When water levels increase in Nakuru, flamingos find it hard to feed in the lake and they therefore migrate to Bogoria; and vice versa. Evening transfer back to lodge for rest and dinner

Early breakfast followed by check out and morning departure from Bogoria to the Masai Mara reserve. On arrival check in to camp for lunch followed by afternoon exploration of the majestic Mara Reserve; the park offers unrivalled game viewing opportunities all year round. Animals easily spotted include the plains game, the big four (lion, elephant, buffalo and rhino) with lucky sightings of the cats (leopard & cheetah). In the evening, transfer back to camp for rest and dinner
Overnight: Sarova Mara Game Camp

Breakfast at 0700hrs then proceed for a morning game drive to see the park when most active. Break for lunch at camp or alternatively carry packed picnic lunch to eat during game drives. Afternoon game drive to explore the new 8th wonder of the world. Cultural visit to a Masai village can be organized at a small extra cost. Balloon safaris are available on request and take place early in the morning before sunrise. More optional activities are available at the camp such as guided nature walks, night game viewing, e.t.c. Evening transfer back to accommodation for dinner and rest

Breakfast followed by park exploration, with packed picnic lunch. Cultural visit can be organized on this day if you wish. After picnic lunch transfer to Keekorok Airstrip to board the afternoon flight back to Nairobi arriving at Wilson Airport at 1500hrs. On arrival transfer to preferred destination within the city
