Jeep safari Bandhavgarh is only way to explore the Jungle. Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve of Madhya Pradesh is one the most coveted destination for wildlife tourism, especially for tourists who wish to see the Tiger in the wild. Safaris takes place early morning and afternoon. The entry gates are Tala, Magdhi and Khitauli.Buffer Zones are Dhamokhar, Panpatha and Pachpedi

Jungle Safari Rates

Safaris are done twice daily at around 5.30 AM and 3.00 PM.

Jeep Safari : Safaris takes place early morning and afternoon. The entry gates are Tala, Magdhi and Khitauli. Plans are afoot to open safaris in Dhamokhar, Panpatha and Pachpedi all buffer zones.

Canter Safari: Recently canters with seating capacity of 12 tourists are being operated. All bookings are current on the spot. The charge for Indians is Rs.2500.00 and for foreigners it is RS.4000.00 this is for every ride.

Elephant Rides available for a charge and availability. No advance booking can be done in this case.

  • Rates for foreigners shall be applicable if person of mixed nationalities travel in a vehicle
  • Jungle will be closed on Every Wednesday Evening
  • Jungle also will be close on Holi Festival
  • Maximum six visitors are allowed in single ticket/vehicle, excluding driver & guide
  • Only those visitors with names mentioned on online ticket will be allowed to enter.
  • New visitor can share the jeep by paying the add on charges.
  • Children under 05 years old will be allowed in the along with adults free of cost.

Weather in Bandhavgarh

Climate is moderate temperature and heavy rail during Monsoon. The park stretches across the Vindhya Mountain Ranges in Central India. The climate of this wonderful reserve area can be broadly divided into three main seasons, i.e., chilly winters, sweltering summer and over pouring rainy season. The summer season continues from end March to the end of June when temperature can go up to 44o c during May-June. By mid June, rainy season starts with light drizzle. The average rainfall of Bandhavgarh National Park is 1133mm. Sometimes between the months of November and February rainfall takes place due to the effect of southern cyclones.

Woollen Layer Clothing is advisable during Winters mid NOV till mid FEB

Winter season starts approaching from mid November and lasts till the end of February. During this period the visitors has to wear heavy layers of winter clothes as the mercury might go down to 2 degree . The open marshy hollows get covered with frost and the greenery looks impressive.
