Jim Corbett National Park is Rich in flora and fauna, it’s known for its Bengal tigers. Animals, including tigers, leopards and wild elephants, roam the Dhikala zone. On the banks of the Ramganga Reservoir, the Sonanadi zone is home to elephants and leopards, along with hundreds of species of birds.. Many thousands of tourists visit this national park every year in the quest of taking an adventurous forest safari and sighting a tiger in its natural habitat at a close distance. However, the visit to this delightful forest is not limited to the adrenaline rushing sight of a tiger, but also a paradise for the bird lovers as well. The various tourism zones of the Corbett National Park are the home to a wide variety of bird species which includes beautiful local birds as well as exotic migratory birds.
Corbett national Park is home to more than 550 species of birds and known as one of the richest bird regions in India. The Birdlife International declared this park as the "Important Bird Area:" (IBA) for being the habitat to such large number of bird species. The few of the prominent bird species which includes Collared falconet, Great Hornbill, Great Slaty Woodpecker, Pallas's Fishing Eagle, Lineated Barbet, Spot-bellied Eagle Owl, Pin-tailed Green Pigeon, Red-headed Vulture, Racket-tailed Drongo, Broadbill, etc. are the real delight for the birdwatchers.

Duration: 2 Days / 1 Night
You will be received by our representative at the Kathgodam station and then driven to Pangot. Pangot is a beautiful Hill station with a very rich natural landscape. At Pangot, check-in to the wildlife lodge and freshen up. After the breakfast, visit at the Kilbury Bird sanctuary and enjoy the birding. Return to the lodge for the lunch and again in the afternoon, take a walk to Bagger for bird watching and walk across the sylvan thicket. Have your dinner and stay overnight at the lodge.
After and early breakfast, we drive you to Corbett National Park. En route, a short break at Mongoli Valley houses different species of birds and it is enough to mesmerize any nature lovers. Later driven to Corbett, in the Dhikuli village and check in to your resort. Enjoy lunch and fress to to explore the surrounding on your own , a walk on the Loha Pul (Iron Bridge) over the Kosi River and along the Kosi riverbed for the amazingly tranquil natural ambiance and you can see lots of bird. Dinner and Overnight stay at Corbett.
Today after breakfast proceed for jeep safari ride to the forest areas of Khumeria, Marchula and Sitabani reserve forest. Enjoy bird watching in these dense green forest areas and then return to the resort for the lunch. After the lunch, take the afternoon jeep Safari at 2.00pm for the Bijrani/Jhirna tiger reserve zone of the Corbett National park. Enjoy birding for 3 hours within the park. In the evening at 7.00 pm catch the train to Delhi from the Ramnagar station. Our tour service ends here. You will reach at Delhi early morning next day.

Weather in Jim Corbett
Summers are moderately hot in Corbett and generally last between the months of March to May. The temperature ranges between a comfortable 15°C - 40°C in these months and relaxing cool breeze lifts up the spirits in the evenings. This is the time when the tourists flock the place in large numbers.
